Sunday Worship followed by Fellowship

Worship lies at the heart of our community. Stirring sermons, heartfelt prayers, rousing music, delightful food: Sunday morning is a time for young and old to connect with God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and one another. Nursery care for ages newborn to 3 years is provided.
Children join us for worship through the children’s sermon and are then invited to participate in Church School: a time to learn about and explore their faith.

The First Congregational Church of Hadley, Massachusetts seeks a part-time Christian Education Director to further develop vibrant and engaging Sunday School and Youth programs. We are looking for an individual who will bring energy and innovative ideas to help grow our Christian Education program. We seek someone who will be a role model for the children and youth, and is passionate about planting the seeds of faith.  Please see job description below.

Quarters for our Heifer International Ark!

The quarter collection tube was emptied and blessed by the children last Sunday to support our ark. $140 was added to the growing collection that supports our Heifer International Ark.  Since September, we have raised 20% of the $5000 needed to buy a Heifer Ark!  We encourage you to keep donating your quarters and/or making your own personal contribution.  Checks can be made payable to Heifer International and processed through First Congregational Churchof Hadley in order to be credited towards our Ark.

Thank you for your generosity!

For more information about Heifer International:

Our youth group meets periodically for fun, fellowship, and faith formation. Our youth also participate in worship services and are active in the broader life of the church, helping out with festivals, dinners, and mission projects.
Our Youth will participate in the Worship Service on Sunday, June 12.
Hadley Food Pantry
You are invited to Help Stock the Pantry!  The First Congregational Church of Hadley and Most Holy Redeemer Church continue to support the Hadley Food Pantry with volunteers and donations. More and more guests have been coming to the pantry to select a few items off the shelves each Sunday. It has become more difficult to keep the pantry stocked. We encourage you to donate non-perishable food items to The Hadley Food Pantry.  Bring a few items to church with you on Sunday and/or take a Pantry Bag home to fill! The shopping cart in the front vestibule of the church is where these donations are collected.  If you are running short of food by the end of the week or end of the month, you are welcome to come to get a few items to supplement your supply. The Hadley Food Pantry is open on Sundays from noon to 1 p.m. at the Most Holy Redeemer Parish hall.

Service Sunday
Twice a year we gather a little early for breakfast, enjoy a brief time of worship and then engage in acts of service to the wider community.
A dedicated group of volunteers prepares and delivers a meal to Hadley’s seniors the first Saturday of each month.
And then there is The Fall Festival, the Church Supper, Knitting Group, Adult Study Groups and other special events.
